Standards and accreditations

Our range of high-quality valves are designed in accordance with, and conforms to, with various British Standards, ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), Manufacturers Standardisation Society and API (American Petroleum Institute) standards.

UL262 Approval

Shipham Valves GA01, GA03 and GA05 Gate Valve models meet the UL262 standard for safety gate valves for fire-protection service. These requirements cover gate valves intended for installation in piping systems supplying water for fire-protection services.

FM1120/1130 Approval

The GA01 model also meets the standards of FM 1120 / 1130 approval for Fire Water Control Valves.
