The team at Shipham Valves fully understands the importance of sustainable manufacturing processes and we take our responsibilities towards the environment very seriously.

Our Mission Statement

We take pride in building on our history of safety, reliability and quality; innovating for the long-term sustainability of our people, partners and planet.

Innovating for the long-term sustainability of our people, partners and planet

The Integrated Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety policy is the foundation of all our operating processes. It includes our environmental plans, commitments and initiatives to demonstrate our pledge to energy consumption and our local environment.

We are committed to reducing water and have implemented initiatives focused on reducing the amount of water consumed in our communal areas, washroom facilities and manufacturing environments. This is an environmental objective of the business.

Waste Management and Recycling

As part of our zero waste to landfill strategy, our quality management team regularly reviews how waste is produced and recycled.

Shipham Valves supports the National Trust’s Plant-A-Tree initiative

We all know the positive impact national and local plant-a-tree initiatives have on the environment, communities and educating our future generations.

The National Trust is an organisation that plays a pivotal role in opening up the natural world and planning for the future of our woodlands. They have recently introduced a plant-a-tree initiative and are aiming to plant and establish 20 million trees in the UK by 2030.

We are delighted to be supporting this initiative and have agreed to fund the planting of at least 500 square metres of woodlands by the autumn of 2022. We hope this will help to make a difference if only in a small way.

This donation will create wonderful green spaces for people and wildlife to thrive.
